GUIDE ROBERT 

I love meeting people from all over the world and I make it my mission to provide memorable tours and experiences for my clients. I decided to become a professional Tour Guide in 1991 and haven’t stopped travelling since! Here you read the rest of my bio.

My first period I use to be a tour guide in Paris. There the name Guide Robert started to be used. For 25 years I have been the leader for people that stayed 3 till 5 days. The last 10 years I have been doing also educational tours throughout Europe mostly with students. Beside all I have been guiding in my home town Amsterdam till today.

​

The coming period I will concentrate on private tours. I will join small groups/ families or private persons to Amsterdam and/or Paris or if they prefer also on larger tours. Guide Robert is my name everywhere.

​

When I’m not busy guiding, I spend time researching and exploring new options to help keep my tours fresh, interesting and relevant - which means returning clients will discover something new every time they tour with me. Guide Robert is the name of the side also because it's a french and Dutch word. In french they say geede Robeeeert and in English Guide Robert. Also in Facebook we have started the profile as Guide Robert.

Just have a look at the excursions. Of course there are more than only mentioned on this website. Even in a city of Paris where the city center has 3x more people than whole Amsterdam, you can find much more secret places to show.
